This exhibit explores the opportunity graphic designers have to create sustainable cultural artifacts through the exploration of urban infrastructure; specifically manhole covers. Shawna Mansfield’s thesis exhibit will feature images of manhole cover from around the world, will explore the evolution of and loss of culture and history in a neighborhood in Gainesville, and hopefully answer questions you didn’t even know you had about manhole covers.

Collaboration: Wes Lindberg will showcase his video work, using manhole covers as his subject, with a technique that involves three GoPros!
